Response to COVID-19 Emergency
Dear Benz Customer,
Local and state governments have and continue to issue new COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease) pandemic emergency related executive orders and risk mitigation measures, such as “shelter in place” or “safe from home.”
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and more specifically, the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Agency (CISA), issued on March 19, 2020 “Guidance on the Essential Infrastructure and National Resilience In COVID-19 Response”. The CISA guidance is available here.
It promotes the ability of certain critical infrastructure sectors “to work during periods of community restriction, access management, social distancing, or closure orders/directives” as “crucial to community resilience and continuity of essential functions” (“Critical Infrastructure Sectors”). Many of Benz’ customers are participants in several of these sectors including:

• Defense and Industrial Base
• Oil and Gas Production
• Utilities
• Medical Device Manufacturing
Benz, manufacturers a wide array of petroleum and chemically based products that support both the manufacturing and operation of related equipment found in these critical sectors. Ongoing supply of our materials will allow for uninterrupted sustainability in all the aforementioned Critical Infrastructure Sectors.
We have shared our position with our key suppliers to ensure an uninterrupted source of raw materials. Combined with our capabilities to maintain requisite inventory levels; we are confident that we can assure you of our supply capability.
